Practice introduction
The Firm's strength now lies in the depth and variety of the experience of its team members and in their exposure to the structuring and execution of transactions that have become defining landmarks in the area of law concerned. This applies both to the profile of the client and the content of the transaction.

The Firm specializes in all aspects of corporate and commercial law, capital market transactions, intellectual and industrial property rights and in litigation and arbitration relating to these areas of law, with particular reference to the needs of multi-national companies. The choice of these areas of practice is strictly in keeping with our aims and objectives, particularly since our clientele operate in a global and dynamic market place. We also offer in-house company secretarial and 'due diligence' services, as well as having retained consultants with considerable financial and management experience in banking, manufacturing and trading in Nigeria. We can thus offer solutions that are legally secure, financially viable and tax efficient.

The Firm are also a member of a number of consortia of Nigeria and International law firms, that have been established specifically to address particular areas of specialized law, such as the Federal and State Governments’ privatization and concessioning programs and the establishment of Public-Private Partnerships. Amongst the foremost of these consortia are “Legal Alliance” and “Legal Advisory Partnership”.

The Firm has contacts and correspondent relations with an extensive network of international law firms and other professional consultants, located in the United State of America, the United Kingdom, Europe and the Far East. The state of reciprocity is such that we are able to extend to our clients the benefits of our accumulated goodwill, to assist them whenever their cross border transactions impinge on those jurisdictions where our correspondents operate. We can, at short notice, secure the services of internationally recognized lawyers, in particular areas of specialized practice, whose knowledge and expertise is directly relevant to the precise needs of our clients.

These areas of expertise and experience are amplified further under specific areas of competence within the “Areas of Practice” section of this web-site.
