The firm has amassed considerable expertise in the field of Privatisation and Concessioning of government owned enterprises and agencies.  This is due to the fact that members of the firm have not only worked on specific privatisation and concession transactions but have in various capacities, either as functionaries of government or Special Advisers, acted with respect to the formulation, implementation, packaging and negotiation of specific privatisation policies and programmes.
The firm is a member of Legal Advisory Partnership (LAP), a specialised consortium of Nigerian law firms and foreign advisers, that has been working to provide senior legal support services to the Director General of the Federal Government's Bureau Of Public Enterprises ("BPE"), with the objective of supporting the existing capacity of BPE to manage its large volume of activities in accordance with international best practice and ensure that BPE sets detailed working procedures and respects all key aspects of its operations, in accordance with its legal mandate. LAP also represented BPE at various public hearings at the National Assembly with respect to petitions received on specific organisations being privatised.

As a member of Legal Alliance we acted for BPE in relation to the privatisation of all the Nigerian paper
Mills and in the sale of many of the country's steel rolling mills.

We have also acted for several potential investors in their investigations and negotiations for the acquisition of a number of manufacturing and assembly plants, located in various parts of the country.
